The Detroit Police Department is turning to the public to help find a 70-year-old resident who went missing following his discharge from an area hospital.
According to reporting by WDIV ClickOnDetroit, Reginald Graham was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday hanging out with friends on Blaine Street, located within Detroit’s Petoskey-Otsego neighborhood.
Police describe Graham as a Black man who is bald, stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs roughly 175 pounds, and has brown eyes. When he was last seen by acquaintances on Blaine Street, he was wearing a blue polo shirt, a black hat, and a black jacket.
Local law enforcement officials from the 10th Precinct are asking anyone who may have seen Graham or who holds details about where he might be to reach Commander Phillip Rodriguez at 313-596-1000. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Michigan by calling 1-800-SPEAKUP, or reported digitally using the Detroit Rewards TV system.
The search for Graham coincides with broader ongoing public safety efforts across the city. The Detroit Police Department routinely utilizes community-driven platforms like Detroit Rewards TV to gather information on open investigations and locate missing persons. The reward program was established to give residents a direct channel to assist officers by submitting anonymous information regarding unsolved incidents.
Past anonymous submissions through the platform have directly aided local law enforcement in making breakthroughs in criminal cases. For instance, an anonymous tip delivered to Detroit Rewards TV back in July of 2023 allowed officers to make an arrest connected to an unarmed robbery that occurred earlier that month in the 14400 block of E. Jefferson.
Community tips remain a vital tool for investigators working on various unsolved cases throughout Detroit neighborhoods. Police continue to review information on several other incidents in different precincts, including a fatal shooting from May 06, 2025, in the 13600 block of Pinewood. In that case, Fallon Gunn, the mother of victim Monai Carter, urged anyone with knowledge about her daughter's death to submit an anonymous tip to help authorities locate those responsible.
Additionally, investigators are following up on property crimes and hit-and-run incidents. Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, an unidentified male broke into a 2020 GMC Sierra parked in the 1400 block of Holden, stealing a handgun and a black bag from the vehicle. Earlier that month, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, around 6:09 a.m., a 32-year-old woman was hit by a newer model black Hyundai Tucson while standing in the roadway near Joy Rd. and Livernois. Officers are also seeking information regarding an armed robbery on Wednesday, July 02, 2025, at roughly 1:35 a.m., when two men entered an unlocked commercial door in the 18500 block of E. Warren, displayed weapons, and demanded cash.
Residents with information on the whereabouts of Reginald Graham, or details concerning any of the active police investigations mentioned, are encouraged to contact the Detroit Police Department's 10th Precinct, Crime Stoppers of Michigan, or submit their information directly to Detroit Rewards TV.
